The Alchemy of Sex

Prescription for tonight:  Sex!!! Some of you might make the “why” face right about here. 😆 

It’s because YOU need it. Our connection hormone, oxytocin, increases when we have sex.  It’s the touchy-feely thing we feel after having sex, and then making love is the deeper connection part of marriage. God wired our bodies and marriages in need of sexual healing.  Sensuality and sexuality are his lock on the gate to opening up emotionally and mentally with your spouse. If you crave your Husband’s attention, his regard, and words, you should be more sexually available. I don’t see it as an even exchange. It’s the base vitamin of any healthy marriage.  

I encourage you to recognize all the mental and emotional partitions that cut you off from feeling and caring where you should and take them down with intentionality.  Find and make the time to be connected to your Husband.  Remember, your marriage is an act of warfare against the enemy of division.  Our enemy is against the plan of salvation for us; interestingly enough, it is modeled in the ministry of marriage itself. 

Prayer 🙏 

Lord, turn on or up my sexual desire for my Husband. Give me thoughts that lead to desires that turn into loving actions I am eager to give and he will be glad to receive. I receive an open mind and heart so we can get on one accord. Sex with my Husband empowers our marriage by deepening our connection towards one another. We walk in the blessing of unity when we are in agreement.   Thank you for one of my tools of protection and preservation of our marriage union. Show me how to solidify our Kingdom Home in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
